Every child (and parent) can identify with Clifford's bedtime needs: his blanket and favorite toys, a drink of water, and a good-night kiss. Norman Bridwell's simple illustrations are a perfect accompaniment to this story, which you will soon be able to recite by heart!

Clifford's First Autumn
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Average review score:

A True ClassicI approached Clifford's First Autumn without any expectations of greatness. Boy was I wrong! This book's deep plotline, masterful writing and intruiging characters make it a true masterpiece. The simple symbolism of the many leaf colors represents man's struggle with multiculturalism, with the moral being that we should jump together into mankinds big leaf pile. This is a true classic of literature shows the spirit of America!

Clifford's First School Day
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Average review score:

Can show children that school is fun!Baby Clifford gets to go to school with Emily. What I like about this book is how Clifford's blunders are resolved: when he goes down on a slide and ruins a sand castle, he helps the children build it back. The book also depicts a day care center with a very relaxed atmosphere and a caring teacher.

It is big enough for three children to look at it at once. They can also learn the alphabet and more.

Clifford's Opposites

Get the picture? I did.First of all, Clifford is a great character. He is cute and red. How can you forget him? Anyway, this book is a simple, clear presentation of a difficult concept. Clifford is last, his friend is first. Clifford is small, his friend is big. Clifford is inside, his friend is outside. Get the picture? I did.
